Beside the measurement of the shape of the
objects we have the ability to document exactly the texture and color
for each pixel. Mostly the
objects are digitized from different points of view to get data of
the whole surface. Special algorithms (registration, best fit) allow
for to orientate the images relative to each other. each pixel gets
both 3D-coordinates x-, y-, z and color.
